In accordance with the RCMP in Nova Scotia, a 22-year-old girl with severe accidents was flown to hospital after being bitten by what’s believed to be a shark in waters off Cape Breton.
Sgt. Andrew Joyce mentioned the incident occurred round 5 p.m. Friday, about half a mile west of Margaree Island, which is off the coast of Cape Breton close to Saint Rose.
“What was occurring right here was that the events have been taking a visit on the water and swimming from the boat,” Joyce mentioned in an interview Friday evening.
He mentioned the girl was from Cape Breton.
